Dear Ms Tminx,
Baggage Claim Reference: AHL XXXXXXXXXXXXX / 09 March 2007
Thank you for your email message of 18 April. Once again, I apologise for the delay in responding and thank you for your patience.
Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of our Central Baggage Tracing Office, we are unable to find your bag. We have now concluded a review of your claim.
Compensation for mishandled baggage, when any portion of a passenger’s journey involves international travel, is governed by an International Treaty known as the Montreal Convention and is implemented by the airlines of those countries that have ratified it. However, the airlines liability is limited and any such claim is subject to proof of purchase, i.e. receipts confirming proof of purchase or of ownership, without which only 50% of the expenses will be taken into consideration.
You have submitted a claim for US$ 550.00 excluding valuable items and have not provided any supporting receipts. Therefore, taking into consideration fifty percent of the amount claimed, we are pleased to offer you US$ 275.00 in full and final settlement of the above baggage claim.
I wish to inform you that in accordance with our Conditions of Carriage, which forms a part of your ticket contract, we are not liable for loss of or damage to valuable items included in the checked baggage, whether with or without our knowledge.
Under the circumstances, regrettably, we are unable to consider your claim for the camera. Some of the loss may be covered by your household or travel insurance policy. May I respectfully suggest that you contact your Insurers who may be able to assist you further.
Please let us have your postal address as a Claim Settlement Form needs to be completed by you before we can process payment.
Once again, I apologise for the inconvenience caused on this occasion and thank you for allowing me to respond.
Yours sincerely,
XXXXXXXXXX
Please keep in mind that my camera alone cost $1000. I don't even know where to begin.

Split the costs?
So the elections for House of Assembly etc have been moved to Saturday which was meant to be my day. Movement has been restricted for 8 whole hours. We have had to sit at home for three Saturdays in a row. Extremely boring if I must say so myself. Please the elections need to end quick. Good riddance.

Due to unpopular demand, I have edited the background so no one dies from an epileptic attack. Its easier on the eyes n'est ce pas?
Thanks for your feedback, even chxta's.
I've been working on my writing, so far this is what I've come up with.
Intuition
Constant as the second hand of the clock ticks
True, never false
Quiet, mellow, broiling in the embers of unconsciousness
One would be wise to pay her attention
Would there still be what ifs?
Woe for I did not listen
I followed my head, my will
While she tugged me back
Forewarned me, almost pleaded
With scorn I shut her up
He needs me, I said, full of self importance
You are misplacing your priorities she said
It will not be worth it
Behold, she was right
The ever wise one.
I pray I learn to listen
For she is strong and wise and
There is truth in her

DNA
Its Monday, and I think its a wrap for all the holidays we have been having. The sad thing is that there is no support number to call seeing as this may affect the nation negatively. Bouts of hatred and depression and of course LAZINESS may be rampant in all parts of Nigeria right about now and there is no number such 0800 BACKTOWORK or 0800 SLEEPNOMORE or 0800 DIDMYVOTECOUNT. Oh well, heres my DNA results. Click on link the below the pics to read my visual DNA.
I'll be putting up a picture a day on my photoblog all this week. So enjoy :). I'm thinking of doing an exhibition in december so I have to start making my ideas a reality. Most importantly, I need to get that new camera.

Don't let them take away your right to freely blog and congratulations on your promotion honey pie. So all.... come and drink peppersoup oh! Hot and Spicy.
This is the original cow in the picture, so you can see that there is enough for all of you. Who's first?
I love my sister very much..and when she's not around, I miss her even more. This Video is so wonderful cos it reminds me how silly she is. The others in the Video are my cousins (Presenter and Abby) and my adopted siblings. She's the white girl.

Words from the mind and the heart
For a while, I made my decisions based on what others did and trust me it was never regarding things that improved my life in anyway. Like I never said to myself, I need to go to the library day and night like Tom, seeing as he gets top grades all the time nooooo, I would say, I better kiss someone soon so I’m not so boring when the girls are gisting. Obviously thinking like this makes one makes several mistakes. These experiences led me to make a decision a few years ago.
Saying you are celibate is like pouring ice cold water all over a guys head. It’s like saying you live in Surulere lol, yes for real though some people are that shallow. I used to be scared to say it, like it made me a wierdo. But its just a natural preference for me. Sometimes I wonder if being that close to another human being is as deep for me as it is for others. I’m not standing on a moral holy pedestal looking down on others, I’m not even looking at this from a religious point of view. I made this decision for me. This is what makes ME happy, and makes my life calm and peaceful.
Sex is great, It’s like the strawberry on the icing, the last malteasers, the last sip of an amaretto sour. Like Morris Chestnut and Micheal Scofield in Prison Break. It compliments a relationship, it doesn’t make it. Like fine wine, its gets better each time with your partner as you learn more and more about one another. It also makes things complex and some people are not worth getting your life complicated over. It creates a false sense of attraction. I just can’t feel strongly enough for someone within days or weeks of meeting them and I certainly can’t juggle guys. I can’t fall for guy after guy. My heart doesn’t have the strength. I don’t feel like there is a lot of satisfaction in having mindless meaningless sex. The thing is that although we women blame men for sleeping around and cheating and not being able to control themselves but I had to sit down and think…when it comes down to me, I have to stay true to myself….How can I expect to meet a guy who has self control if I myself don’t have any.
I know the qualities I’m looking for, I don’t want a knight in shining amour, I’m not looking for ‘the one’ who completes me, I am one complete person. I’m just looking for one who complements me, and who I’ll complement…with our flaws and all...I’m just looking to make the right choice when the time comes.
Maybe I’m too much of a romantic.

Blogsville Gist
The biggest question of the day is...Who is Mr G? I personally feel it's someone trying to be someone's ex. This someone recently told us about her break-up and her blog is widely read. I personally think if thats it, then its not very funny.
Happy BirthdayYankeeNaijaChick. Hope you had a smashing day. It's a few more weeks to mine. I'll let you guys know the details once its fully planned.
Simply gorgeous still has her competition going on. She must really love this her brother oh. She still gave no stats on his age. I think maybe cos he is really 40 or something lol.
Don Chi is back with information on where he has been all this while. Naughty.
9ja Opeke congrats on your promotion!
Boorishmale stars in Encounters of the strange kind. It's quite an interesting read....as usual.
Bella hits us with her Weekend luv. It's very good, she uploaded videos even I haven't seen here in Nigeria.
Unnaked has up a funny post about a girl he met on hi5. The things we do......
Low had a great easter weekend and was surprised by hr MR...1...2..3.... AWwwwwwwWWWWWWWWw.
Chameleon has a lovely written post on a date she went to. Sorry if is not your sort of thing..its mine :)
Buki, Vickii, Waffy, Fluffy Cute Thing, Ms Zee and ToyinE have started their 21Day Challenge Join them or cheer them on. You can do it girls!
Finally Blacktinkerbell, we are still waiting for the results !!!!!!!!
I plan to go and vote tomorrow so I had this conversation with my dad.
Tminx: Dad are you voting
Dad: No
Tminx:Why not? You registered
Dad: I'm not voting
Tminx: Well I'm going to vote myself then
Dad: Did you check to see if your name was on the register
Tminx: What register? I'll just go and check tomorrow then vote
Dad: If you waste their time and they check and you name is not there, they will beat the living day lights out of you because you are meant to know your voting center before you go to vote.
Beat or no beat, I'm going to vote.

How
I had planned to jollyficate this weekend. A five day weekend!! I mean, how many times does one get that nowww. You know how five day weekends mean nothing to a student. If I wanted a 10 day weekend in those days, I’d just simply take it. But now that we have to be at work ruled by the MAN, five day weekends are like toffee and butterscotch candy, like frosted water in the fridge freezer, like Heroes Episodes 1-18 (can someone send me the rest?), like orange juice when your tongue taste like shit and you want to cut it out from your mouth? Yessir it’s the same old Malaria again. This thing just loves my blood. That’s telling you guys how sweet it is. Don’t mess.
Anyway I made little notes while I was away. Tiny notes called HOW.
How I missed leaving comments and blogging so much. How I had the opportunity to say FIRST! FIRST! many, many, tempting, many times. How Mona forgot about Ovid Video and the Magic Rainbow as part of her cartoons blog. How the new bloggers either crack me up or make me blush. How I missed Babaalayes posts. How I felt special because of all the words of encouragement left by bloggers and readers. How I went to China and it was great but I lost my luggage which had my camera in it. How it still hasn’t been found. How I climbed the Great Wall. How I went to Dubai and did a tour and bought my very first piece of gold. How I made up with one of my friends and am much happier with our relationship. How all it takes is communication. How Nneka the blogger is back. How I missed the whole bachelorette thing and would have loved to play. How a group of friends and I planned a careers day event for students at our secondary school. How prison break is so darn good. How I am reading the purpose driven life and coming to terms with my purpose in this life. How I have a few weeks left in Lagos. How I’m planning my beach birthday/farewell party, all invited, so whos coming. How I hate throwing parties incase they flop. How a certain blogger says I've lost my touch. How all I can call her is a re-re (RETARD).
And the biggest how? HOW DOES SYLAR GET HIS POWERS? Its eating at me from the inside. Tell me pleaseeee.
