@ Soul-Maltesars consist of a spherical malt honeycomb centre, surrounded by milk chocolate(not CANDY-that's just way 2 broad-could be bars, chocolates, licorice, sucking candies, taffy, gumdrops, marshmallows, chewing gum and more...Ok this is me ranting on in my boredom mode.
Soul candy to me is sticky chewy sugary stuff. While Malteasers are chocolate not candy. Candy is like lollipops, skittles and the likes.
