One of the poems I wrote while in one of those pensive moods where you wish everything would have worked out the way you wanted them to.
Departure From Innocence
I forget to breathe when he’s around
My senses are heightened
Emotions swirling all around me
I forget to breathe when he touches me
My skin is electrified
My heartbeat quickens
I forget to breathe when he kisses me
My thoughts fly away
My lips ask for more
I forget to breathe when he walks away
The sorrow engulfs me
No words can comfort me
I start to breathe as I count
The days till he returns

YOU ROCK!!! cos even as i read it, I was going through the same emotions(lol... everybody knows what I'm going thru right now... ) Fantastic stuff 4real... on another note.. oh my gosh.. have you listened to the new dreamgirls soundtrack?! It's perfect..I can't wait for the movie to open in theaters!
